The Story
Preserves is a love story.
Between two people. Between the past and the present. Between Micah and Kansas.
When a dancer falls in love with an ex-offender, they unlock a century-old secret in their all-Black Kansas town.
The Vibe
Simply put, this film will feel like a poem:
Visceral and lyrical.
Preserves will be shot on location in Nicodemus Kansas and will use dance, music, and 16mm film as form.
